Unofficial List of Sheldon Cooper’s “Religions”

Over the weekend, we heard a great deal about neuroscientists who compared the brains of Apple fans to those of “very religious” people and found that both Apple and religion light up the same part of the brain respectively.  These findings are highlighted in an upcoming BBC documentary, which also likens Apple Stores to cathedrals for Apple Believers.  Check out the CNN article here.

In the same spirit, I would like to offer an unofficial list of Sheldon Cooper’s (of The Big Bang Theory) “religions”:

- Star Trek (cathedral: signed Leonard Nimoy napkin)
- Theoretical physics (cathedral: string theory research at CalTech)
- Comic books (cathedral: the comic book store)
- Video games (cathedral: Halo, Age of Conan, World of Warcraft)
